Presents For Men – What To Buy Men Who Have Everything
The man who has everything can be a serious challenge when it comes to buying presents. After all he has, well everything. Bottom line is if he really wanted something he’s probably already gone out a bought it or you or someone else have already given it to him as a present before. If he hasn’t already got it, it’s probably because he doesn’t really want it.
So you really need to rack your brains and find something that either costs more than he would normally spend on himself, something he hasn’t seen yet so he doesn’t yet know he wants it or find something that will inspire a new interest for him.
Of course just spending loads of money on a present is just daft. The old saying ‘it’s the thought that counts’ is even more true in our consumer driven world. A present that shows you really thought about it is far better even if it costs next to nothing.
It’s easy to look at the novelty presents for men that abound at festive times. I looked at the current offerings. You could have a seduko or crossword toilet roll or a hand crafted wooden belt hanger. Oh please No! Don’t let yourself be lured in.
If your man loves novelty object then think a little outside the box. I saw a ‘flying alarm clock’. What? An alarm clock that has a propeller on the top and when the alarm goes off the propeller spins up and the top of the alarm clock flies off like a helicopter. The alarm won’t stop until you get it back. Now that a novelty. Barking mad but practical!
Presents need to be as individual as the person receiving them. One man’s dream present is another man’s sock drawer content.
Here’s a couple of ideas to get you going. Does your man like sport? If he’s a cricketer how about a personalised hand made cricket bat. Your man goes to the cricket bat workshop and is measured and his stance and style assessed. Then he can watch as a master craftsman creates a bespoke bat for him right before his eyes. Or maybe he like things a little more extreme. Maybe a beginners kite surfing training would fit the bill.
If these presents for men are a little over your budget what about a Marks and Spencer’s made to measure shirts. This is a terrific idea. You go online and select everything about the shirt including colour, material, collar and cuff styles, body fit and even a monogram. You enter in your man’s collar size, height, weight and age and M&S will produce the perfect monogrammed shirt for your man. It will cost less than £30 too!
Open your mind and those presents for men who have everything can turn out to be the most memorable they have every received.
